brown spots on top of feet and on my ankles?

i have brownish red blotches on top of my feet and going up my legs they dont itch or hurt when im out in the sun there really noticable on my lankles and going up my leg any ideas of what it could be thanks

Hey my husband has this too. They started appearing as he got heavier in weight, and seem to fade some when he drinks plenty of water. Liver spots or something? We haven't had it checked by a Dr, but I'm interested in any answers to this too.

are you old? maybe liver spots
