How do you know Dinasours were not just isolated to the United States, since this is the country where most of the fossils have been located? and if a meteor struck just the USA that would account for the destruction.

Thoughts?

No. Just... no.

First off, North America has no monopoly on fossilized remains, so there's no reason to believe they could possibly have been isolated here. Secondly, all evidence points to dinosaurs existing millions of years ago, long before the human-scaled timeframe of biblical creation. Thirdly, just how is that meteor thing supposed to work? Big enough to wipe out an entire continent-spanning ecosystem, but not large enough to mess up the rest of the planet? Not possible.

If you really feel you have to reconcile dinosaurs and creationism, you'd be better off going with the rest of your pack and insisting either that they were wiped out in the flood because Noah figured they were too big to fit on the ark, or that all fossils are created by Satan in his never-ending struggle to confuse and mislead humanity. At least those theories don't require any scientific justification.

Fossils for dinosaurs are found all across the globe. One of the reason that the Americas tend to turn up a lot of them is that much of the continents were sparsely populated for many centuries, unlike Europe and Asia. So few of the bones have been destroyed by people building, digging, etc.

Another thing that is also found "world wide" is a believe in dinosaurs which predates their "discovery" in the late 1800's. Every culture in Europe, Asia, Africa and the Americas has a believe in "dragons". Large, reptile like creatures that sure look an awful lot like dinosaurs. If all dinosaurs became extenct 100 million years before man evolved, what are all those legends based on?

The God or Gods of the Chinese and the Australian Aborignal tribes did not come from the Biblical Israel, and as far as can be discerned from the fossil record at this point, human life originated in Africa, not the biblical Middle East. Dinosaur fossils can be found on all continents.

If a meteor struck... where?

You need to be a whole lot more accurate and specific in your statements.

Dinosaur fossils have been found all over the earth - Europe, Africa, some in Central and South America, Asia Minor, and Australia. The theory is that when the earth was still young that all of the continents were actually one large land mass and that over time with plate techtonics, the land mass broke apart through a series of earth quakes and moved apart. It's a feasible theory and if you look at a globe you can see how the continents could theoretically fit back together.

This can be viewed and applied in a biblically sense. In Genesis it says: And God said, "Let the waters beneath heaven be gathered into one place, and let dry ground appear." And so it was. And God called the dry ground "land" and the gathered waters he called "seas." And God saw that it was good. Then God said, "Let the land produce vegetation: seed-bearing plants, and fruit trees bearing fruit with their proper seed inside, on the land." And so it was. And the land produced vegetation: plants bearing the seed of their kind, and trees bearing fruit with their proper seed inside. And God saw that it was good. And evening was and morning was: the third day. Genesis 1: 9-13 It doesn't say in the Bible how the land masses were shaped or placed on the earth and it could be theorized that "Land" started out as one large continent and God shaped and moved it as he pleased.

As far as dinosaurs fitting into the Creation story - God created the animals of the earth before he created man. It may be taking liberties with the timeline but the six days of the creation could have been far longer than six days as we know them. Time to God is of no relevence so God's "day" could be the equivalent of many millions of years compared to our length of day. Dinosaurs could have easily been created with all other animals and then destroyed during the rest of the creation process before human beings were created. There's no real explanations, just a leap of faith. But it makes for interesting conversations and debates.

Just a theory for argument's sake.

We have found the most Dinosaurs in the US because we live in a society where we have the luxury to seek them out.

There have been many findings in other parts of the world as well, China, Siberia, Australia etc,

But it is extremely difficult to search for dinosaur bones in the middle east, because people there are more interested in finding food and killing one another rather than seeking knowledge. That is why religion is so dangerous. It seeks to explain origins of the earth and will attempt to discount hard evidence at every turn.

I tell you, I wouldn't want to be an Afghan who discovered the bones of a Megaladon in the desert, chances are I would be deemed in cahoots with the devil and snuffed out.

Dinosaur fossils are known from every continent, including Europe, Asia, the Americas, Australia, and Antarctica.

In fact, they still inhabit every continent, one of the few Classes of animals that do. (Birds are descended from theropod dinosaurs.)

Incidentally, you are right that the asteroid that caused the KT event (extinction of all other kinds of dinosaurs) did happen in North America. It struck the Yucatan peninsula. However, the calamity was worldwide - the Iridium this asteroid threw off coats a specific strata everywhere in the world. Iridium from the Mexican asteroid can even be found in rock strata in the middle east.

Dinosaurs have been found all over the world. Continents were different in their time. The meteor that helped destroy the dinosaurs landed in Mexico, not the USA. You need to research much more before you form opinions based upon such stuff as this. It is expected that Hebrews would say their deity chose them and created humans in their land. Science knows better than such malarkey.

If you'll read the Book of Job, the dinosaurs were found in Mesopotamia and Sumeria. This isn't the USA. Another National Geographic Special made and produced by atheist, I'm sure. Anything to push their agenda.
