There was a virgin birth to a Hammerhead shark at Henry Doorly Zoo. At least that one is real and fully supported by evidence, unlike Mary, who definately was not a virgin. That whole Mary virgin birth thing, nice attempt to cover up that she was sleeping with the whole village. However, the Hammerhead that was born died a painful death, so maybe that could be your Christ. Who knows, get the CHristian media spin doctors on that one, and in 2000 years there will still be weak minded people who believe in hook, line and sinker.

In addition, you saying Jesus has not yet returned but still will sometime in the future, is like saying I can not prove that God does not exist because I have not searched everywhere. To all Christ lovers: Do you believe that if there was a Christ and he returned, that he is coming throwing around lightning bolts and fire, etc? Do you know where those images come from? They are the first initial Gods that people prayed to, the original Gods on the planet were all war gods, with lightning and fire breathing out their butts. That warped itself into Christianity. Quit blind belief, and at least research your religion, and not just the Bible. See where stories come from, etc.

The whole bible is a farce. The church has left so much out of the bible, that would refute Jesus as God, etc. Mary was never a virgin giving birth to some God. If Jesus existed, he was flesh and blood and made in the normal way............sorry Christians must say this.............through sexual intercourse. Maybe she was sleeping with a whole bunch of guys and did not know who the father was, or possibly due to the arranged marriages of the time, she may have been pregnant (tainted) but told the parthenogenesis lie to attempt to reverse the black mark against her for sleeping around. Either way, scientifically there has never been a documented case of parthenogenesis in mammals.........EVER. So religious people, deal with it, it never happened. And if the first one was Christ, then this hammerhead shark was the second coming of Christ, just as likely. Since your Christ never stated what form he would arrive in, did he?

When Christ returns, you will NOT have to ask "is this the 2nd coming"? - but then again, you may be one who will be fooled by the false prophets, so let me fill you in. What were you, the town gossip of Bethlehem at the time of Jesus' birth? Or was that meant to be a particularly cruel jab at Christians to whom the mother of their Savior means a lot?

To fully respond to your query, though, one needs to split hairs. 1st - Mary was a virgin, she was only 14 or so. If she had been sleeping around, she would have been stoned to death, which is why Joseph wanted to divorce her quitely, so he wouldn't be stoned right alongside her.
2nd- Asexual reproduction is a method used throughout nature when there isn't enough males/females to go around for the spiecies to survive.

As for it dying a horrible death - one could make a counter argument against homosexuality.....
