Hi,
Is this software for home use? Then why pay at all?! Avast and AVG are two world-class products that you can download and use free of cost!
Avast is available at: http://www.download.com/Avast-Home-Edition/3000-2239_4-10375520.html
Free AVG:

I would personally recommend Avast. Most other popular paid products like Noron or MCafee is a yearly subscription.

I have used AVG Anti Virus, Zone Alarm Firewall, Spy-bot Search and Destroy and Ad Aware both spyware killers for years. They are all free for personal use and I have had no trouble with Viruses Trojans etc. AVG does not slow the system down as much as some other products and Zone Alarm allows a lot of personal configuration unlike the Windows Firewall. They can all be downloaded from the following link. http://www.computeractive.co.uk/ On the home page select downloads and then the appropriate category.I also use Windows Defender from the Microsoft site. It is safe to use two anti-spy products but never use more than one A/V as it can cause conflicts. You should run A/V and anti spy weekly. Hope this helps.

The question is too general. It's not just getting the money sooner or how much. What could the company do with that money if they held it another two months? And then the 2nd of the qtr, hold that for another month? Would they have been able to make you even more money than you putting it in savings? If they kept it and bought something or paid a debt off, would the stock price go up?(By more than a little dividend)

Panda is a very good all in security suite that can be paid for every 3months or 6months but you should be able to get a reliable OEM very cheaply with a year of updates I use Panda Titanium which is ace and only cost £8 off ebay, recommended by many computer mags.

Most of them answered correctly -
You can use good software of AVG which is free to use and which also updates automatically to tackle new viruses
Norton or Macfee are also good but needs subscription. Norton internet security package is very good with lot of features which AVG cannot provide. It has firewalls, anti spyware, anti spam protection, phishing tools, anti virus and many others
