This is my daughter's last week of pre-k. She had a great teacher that was a joy for me to work with in developing my daughter. I would like to say thank you but don't know if a card would be enough. Do you think a card would be enough? What would be a good thank you gift?

I think a card it great! Have your daughter draw a picture and you can include her school photo for the teacher. If you wanted to add something else...how about a gift card of $5 to a coffee shop or blockbusters. It is the idea that you are recognizing the teacher for all of their hard work in the past year.

It is a teacher's job to teach your daughter, that is what she is paid to do. Some teachers are better than others, and when you come across one that makes a difference in the development of your child, it is important to recognize this and while a gift is nice ( I wouldn't go over 5 or 10 dollars) a card expressing your gratitude, detailing the wonderful things she has done as a teacher would mean a lot. Another nice gesture would be a letter to her supervisor commending the teacher's dedication to your child's development and detailing how pleased you have been with the teacher (be sure to send a copy of the letter to the teacher!!)

My Mon is a teacher and gets all kinds of gifts. Get the teacher something she can use, not just some little cheese ball gift for their desk but something like a gift card.

Even a small gift certificate, $5-$10, to something like Starbucks would be appreciated or a gas card these days. You may want to check with the school though, gift giving might not be allowed.

I by no ability knew that maximum instructors foot the bill for their aspects for their scholars. that's astonishing whilst mum and dad can help out slightly. he will like it.

A gard would be nice. if you want to give more, do a gift certificate somewhere. Teachers love them and prefer them.

My sister is a teachers and will tell parents she would prefer gift certificates if they are going to give her gifts.
