Yes your Sony has a built-in HD tuner (ATSC). ATSC is the standard for digital "over the air" tuning. Your set also has a QAM tuner which is the standard for digital broadcasting over cable which means any non-scrambled digital signals on your cable line can also be received.

Yes it has the HD tuner built in. It has the analog tuner-NTSC, and the over the air digital one- ATSC + QAM tuner, which is a tuner which allows you to hook your in-coming digital coaxial cable wire directly to the connection on the TV, without any need for a set-top box.

Yes. The web page says is has both an NTSC (standard television) and ATSC (HD television) tuners.

maybe it dones, but i don't know about a buit-in HD tuner.
