Hi,
I want to start the 5k today and i'm not sure at what speed to run the intervals at. Does anyone know what speed i should set the treadmill to during the walk and run?
Thanks

Set it to what is comfortable. The majority of your training should be at a pace that you can still carry on a conversation.

I would start the running portion at 6 mph and see if the is comfortable. If it is too difficult, slow it down.

Nike Running offers couch-to-5K programs for free on its website. You put in your info and your goals and it gives you a workout plan over time for your distance with your abilities and stuff. It's a really good tool.
