I will not give you a specific name but rather things to think about when you are selecting a name. I am a dog trainer and have read that there are certain things to consider when picking a name:
1. Pick a name that has at least 2 syllables (Most obedience commands such as "Sit," "Down," and "Stay" are one syllable so there needs to be some differentiation between a command and their name)
2. Pick a name that ends in a consonant, specifically a, i, or e. (Putting a consonant at the end makes a person have a positive inflection when saying the name. That will tell the dog they are being good and they will be more likely to respond when called. On that note, never use the dog's name when you are scolding it. )
3. My own opinion would be to try and pick a name that is unique. There are so many people that come in to my class and their dogs are named things like Buddy, Max, Lucky, Rover, etc.
Good luck and congratulations on your new puppy.

I have a Bichon and their tails curl like that and have curly fluffy hair so i'm not sure your pup is a poodle cross, maybe a Bichon Frise cross? Anyway I love names that are named after food or songs. I had a beautiful choc lab and she was called marmite. i had a little mongrel called Hershey. My Bichon is called Ruby tuesday.

Choose a name based on his personality. We have 4 dogs: Toby, Napoleon, Miko & Spanky. Our cat is named Phantom. Each was named for his distinct traits. Toby is laid back; Napolean thinks he is the emporer of his domain; Miko actually sounded like he was whining "Miko"; Spanky acted like a little rascal; Phantom was sneaky. Have fun with it!

Sparticus, I have a dog that meets your description. I named him sparticus after the Greek God of war because he is the exact opposite. So cute and cuddly.

he sounds like justin timberlake! He sounds really cute and you're very lucky to have him, for some reason Muffin came to mind, but it may be too cute for a boy.
