It's not good for the eyes to play computer a lot, give yourself a break. Taking a bath doesn't harm the eyes at all, it's the computer screen that does the harm. If your eyes feel tired, take a break for about ten minutes, then go back.

1. Glance away from the computer every few minutes and allow your eyes to focus on a picture on the wall on the far side of the room or out the window. This will help relax your eyes and "exercise" them at the same time.
2. Too much UV radiation from your monitor can blind you or hurt your vision. Get a newer monitor that states it has reduced emissions. This will help.
3. Move away from the monitor. Put at least four or five feet between you and the screen. Increase the screen size and image size if possible.
4. If you wear glasses, get them polarized or tinted with UV coating to reduce the UV radiation entering your eyes.
5. Use visine after you get off the computer.
The bath should not hurt your eyes unless you have a lot of chlorine in your water.
Take good care of your eyes! They are the only ones you have!

Playing on the computer for extended periods of time, can be bad for your eyes. Sitting at a computer for long periods of time without giving yourself a break is hard on EVERYONE'S eyes.
Taking a bath after sitting at the computer is NOT bad for your eyes. One has nothing to do with the other and whoever is feeding you that garbage should get their facts straight. Though, I think they may just be trying to get a rise out of you and it sounds like they have. Ignore them. But do yourself a favor and give yourself a break from the computer every 45 minutes to an hour. Get up, walk around for a few minutes, and give your eyes a break. They will thank you for it! And if you wear glasses already, get an anti-reflective coating put on next time you get your lenses changed. The coating reduces the amount of glare you get from your monitor on the front side of your lenses. This glare produces an insane amount of eye strain and compounds the negative impact that computer usage has on your eyes. There are several excellent anti-reflective coatings to ask for...Crizal and Zeiss offer excellent coatings that reduce the glare and UV and hold up great against scratching.

I think that it"s not healthy to be on the computer all the time. It's like watching TV all the time. It's not good. Maybe if you minimize the use of your computer it might not hurt your eyesight too much. I've worked using the computer at work for a long time and it really damaged my eyesight. I had to get lasik done. I couldn't see without my glasses. It was pretty scary.

"They" are trying to scare you for some reason. Computers and bathing won't cause blindness. If you are masturbating, quit only when you begin to need glasses..
