Those who try and force others to change their religion are fanatics and are do not abide by islam, they want to take matters further than they are supposed to thinking it is a religious mandate.

Actions of some Muslims are not reflective of the religion of Islam, just as Hitler and Mussolini are not representative of Christianity. One should discuss religious issues with individuals who has comprehensive knowledge about the Koranic and prophetic texts. We are often biased in our opinions and try to win the case with our incomplete knowledge of the religion which we either want to defend or want to show as the best religion there is.

As far as the issue of Jesus dying for the sins of human kind, I always find it a little bit confusing. Are you saying that murderers, rapists, child molesters, and criminals all will go to heaven if they believe in Christianity. If that is so, then shouldn't all Christians who are being sentenced be released from jails?

With regards to Muhammad's prophethood, I know where you are coming to this conclusion. However, I would urge you read more, and you may find that you are just strengthening your strictly held belief based on some books that supports your claims. This is what is known as "Pygmalion effect" (for details on this please see the wikipedia link)

The verdict is not out yet. Do not question the Religion because of the Actions of some people. Nobody forces anyone into Islam. It is one's own Free Will to convert. Before converting to Islam, the person is asked various times whether they are converting after understanding the religion thoroughly or for other Conveniences.
Likewise, if one is living in a country with a majority of Muslims and whereby Islam is considered the religion of the state, then, there are steps to take, which is what the lady is doing. The details have to be very clear before decision can be made. Because a wrong decision made will be difficult to overturn cos it will set a precedence for other non genuine cases.

If the Quran clearly states that there should be no compulsion, how does that make Muhammad a false prophet? Muhammad was speaking out against the behavior that you speak of. The actions of people today cannot be attributed so easily to the prophets of the past.

Koran says about Jesus that He is a prophet therefore we dont need to discover Jesus we know Him very well but you dont.So you need to discover Jesus and after Mohammad.Mohammad is the last prophet God sent after prophet Jesus. And Jesus told to His friends as a good news
that prophet Mohammad will come. But they changed it as holly spirit.Mohammad is not false prophet. He is a real prophet.Suppose many false prophets claimed themselves
but they have all lost because Allah doesnt allow them to win.

There is no Compulsion it is on that person if they choose to become a Muslim or not. As for those countries that kill Muslims who decide to convert it is a sin they have no right. Mohammed(pbuh) was not a false prophet he was not an innovation or new thing among the messengers of Allah(swt) He gave us eternal truths that had already been known. He gave us details and requirements, His message was not limited to just Muslims... his message is intended for all
"Mohammed is not the father of any of your men, but(he is) the Messenger of Allah, and the seal of the prophets: and Allah has full knowledge of all things"(Quran 33:40)

This is exactly why a lot of people from these kinds of countries will do anything to escape. If they want to change, they are scared to death to do it. Come on now, tell me how in the world can one say he is muslim and knows God, but yet he will disown his own family member because they change their religion? How can one say he knows God when he can stand in the streets going against something that is not any of his business from the beginning? How can one say he knows God, but yet sends death threats to others? These people have been deceived to the point that all they know is the work of the devil.

as a muslim i know that the Quran does not state that apostates must be harmed or killed in way shape or form. muslims who believe this to be true and act upon it are committing a sin and will have to answer for it on the Judgement Day.

there is no compulsion in religion....the truth shines forth from the darkness...means exactly that.

Ever hear of the Spanish Inquisition? That was the Christian version of what you ask. Things like this happen when religious fanatics have the power.
