What is better an Xbox360 or PS3???

xbox 360 i've got one and wouldn't swap it for a ps3 i've heard that there not that good and my friend bought one said it was rubbish and swapped it for an xbox. Plus i really like gears of war and im not sure you can get it on ps3.

The Xbox 360 has been around for some time, most if not all of the problems they had at launch have been solved. They have a substantial amount of software out there and there are some real killer games like Gears of War, Halo 3, GTA3 etc.
The PS3 looks is somewhat over priced at almost double the Xbox360 and there is currently limited software out there for it. If you have a HD tv and have a huge number of DVD's then blue-ray will be of interest to you, HOWEVER to aware that it was not that long ago that Sony said that the new format was going to to be with the PSP and we all know what a turkey that was.

PS3 is by far better than the Xbox 360. I have a PS3 and my friend has an Xbox 360. He even admits that the PS3 is better but had the Xbox so he thinks it's too late to change.

i like both but i like the ps3 better because it has more features. the 360 is good if you have it hooked up to the Internet but the ps3 is good for single play because of all it's features like.....

the xbox 360 has no HDMI and only uses DVD-ROM but the ps3 uses blu ray which is the future. plus i think the ps3 looks alot better because it's shinny and black! the ps3's on line is free as well plus if you have wireless you can go on the Internet straight away because the ps3 has built in wireless.
the graphics are about the same in both not much difference
the game selection is not that great at the moment but that is because the games are blu ray and it takes a bit of time for developers to get used to it so the games will get better. take a look at some upcoming games.
so unless you love to play people on line, get the ps3

I wud suggest u get a ps3 if u can easily afford it.there r two kinds available n the main differences r card reader n wifi.If u don't want wifi n big hdd go for 20gb version.Right now I agree not many games r available but it has other cool features n in some time awesome games will come out.I use mine mainly to play games,watch vids listen to music etc.N now the best thing is streamin through ur own computer using ethernet.Stream movies ,songs pics watever u want.I am so happy to have ps3.Plus u can install different operating systems on it like linux etc.Just buy it n see wat all features u get with it which don't come with xbox360.N for graphix that also ps3 is superior to xbox in lots of terms...I hope u make the right decision.Chill...enjoy...

The XBox 320 is a stable platform with LOTS of games available for it. Right now you can get a deluxe version of the machine for about half the cost of the PS3. The PS3 does have beautiful graphics, but it will be a few years (if ever) before game producers start really taking advantage of the PS3's hardware.
My vote goes to the XBox 360. Significantly more bang for your buck.

X-Box is definetly superior in the games graphics department compared to PS3. It seems as if the developers for the games on PS3 did not use the time between the console releases to improve the graphics of the games. PS3 hardware is defenitly superior in graphics to X-Box360 but developers did not take the time to utilize this to its full potential...therefore i say get X-Box360. I have a Wii but want a ps3, xbox360 already looks outdated when put next to the ps3....
There again there are more games out for it so your call...

The PS3 is so much better. The only reason why its so expensive is blue-ray. The PS3 is actually worth more like $800, but sony sells it at a loss.
