There is nothing wring with " not having a boyfriend" You should feel proud of yourself. Too many girls base their value on what kind of guys she can get interested in her.. This shows you value yourself as a person. I wasn't sure if you are making about this question, due ti the fact, your worried what other night think, or what should you do? Waiting to have a steady relationship, is sometimes what is best and needed. A god education is needed at this day age. Don't be so hard on yourself having a boyfriend is not every thing, and those kinda girls who base there value on boys attention, are nothing more then a puppet. be happy you are a strong independent woman, who can do as she pleases. After all anyone can go out and find someone for short term , but why? If you don't respect expect anyone else too.. sounds defiantly like you are on the right to me. God Bless

The first thing that popped up on my mind was that you never found a guy worthy of going out with until now.

It doesn't mean anything more than that.

You aren't psycho just because you didn't rush out and date guys just for the sake of it! In fact, you're extremely sane! The crazy girls are the ones who go out with guys (or girls) just because everyone else is doing it.

And you aren't a lesbian just because you haven't found the right guy attractive to you yet. You're just unimpressed with the guys you've seen so far.

This guy should be thrilled that you wanted to go out with him on a second date, and even more thrilled to learn that he's your first real date.

But some guys freak out because now they have to live up to that challenge, and be a first date that you'll have good memories about. It means he has to be on his best behavior and treat you right, or else for the rest of your life you'll know your first real boyfriend was a jerk and it will be all because of him. That's a lot of pressure for some guys, who may or may not be jerks.

Some really nice guys intentionally break it off because they may have had "other plans" and they have too much class to do "that" to you. On the other hand, some really bad guys will jump at the chance to go all the way just to proudly boast to their buds that they were the first to score with you (all the way).

Just stick to what you've been doing and don't let the guy take it further than you are ready for. And don't feel pressured or obligated by what society says you "should" be doing. It's none of their business.

You are nice and intelligent that's why you don't have a boyfriend. For the society's sake now a days even lesbians are keeping boyfriends .And psycho's leave alone boyfriends or girlfriends they will not even have friends because they cannot befriend themselves.
Anyway you are quite normal and if someone's puts you such starry questions show sympathy for such abnormal people.

Don't sweat it! You have plenty of time. My best friend is 39 and he started dating at 37 and is getting married in July. Enjoy the single life and make sure you are ready for the big C.

Steve

P.S. That would be COMMITMENT!

My nasty looking ex-sister in law had never dates, but now married and has 2 kids and never been happier. She just had to wait her turn, but it's still OK to flirt until then, so go for it!!!

Be sure you clarify what you said and tell him that you dated a lot but just didn't get into anything intense with one guy.
