well i was at a party and danced with a lot of guys (about 10) cuz they all asked me, and thay all said im a great dancer like one of the best in the class. my close guy friend who i like was sitting on the side the whole time.. my friend went up to him and said "ask someone to dance. you look bored. why dont you ask megan?" so he did but he kept moving away from me so i moved a little closer and then we were like off the dance floor. he didnt talk to me like the rest of the night. what happened????

I think your friend is shy and does not think he is a good dancer. I think he also might like you more then "just friends" and all the dancing you did with the other guys has made him a little jealous. Then when you called him out on the dance floor, he probably did not feel comfortable and felt embarrased or like less of a man. It sounds like even he does not realize that he likes you. I think you should confront him.

How will you feel if your best guy friend left you and danced with 10 girls without asking you to dance once!!! he is feeling the same... he was jealous of course !! but felt left out also...

If I were your friend, I'll get more than pissed off.
You mentioned he's your close guy friend right? and any friend being left behind in a party will definitely feel bad.
Maybe an apology will do the trick.
And make sure that you don't leave him anywhere while you're enjoying so much ok?

i think you know what happened but it was just a dance its not like you did anything else with these other guys right? besides you're young you should be dancing and enjoying yourself! you should talk it over with him. find out JUST how much he likes you.

in my opinion he is jealous that u danced with the other guys and not with him... guys get that way, especially when they wish you were more than just friends
