So i've read some stuff on here that say if you do not get enough sleep, your heart gets damaged and that sometimes can cause breathlessness which I think that's one of my symptons. If I start to get enough sleep and start sleeping longer, will I get my heart start healing and will it stop the damage?

Sleeping is the period where your body repairs itself, so if you don't get enough sleep, it could cause damage to any part of your body. But if you sleep more, your heart will start healing because it's getting the repair time it needs. You should also talk to a doctor, just to be safe, seeing as it's heart-related.

Sleep!!!!!!!!
My normal sleep rate is 2 hours per day but there is nothing within my heart but may be because i am originally born like that.
Nothing relate this with that. If you want an advise, just 6 hrs /day is enough to sleep, eat healthy foods (vegetables and fruits and please don't eat fatty foods) and doing exercise. That's all.

I was researching this for you. For about 6 years I only slept every other night so that I could attend school, work and raise my children.

Yes, it's a predisposing factor to secondary cardiovascular diseases, and lack of adequate sleep can also results in nervous disease/s.
But in an already damaged heart it can result in severe pathology of end organs also.

Hence the good old saying goes on" EARLY TO BAD EARLY TO RISE MAKES ONE HEALTHY ,WEALTHY AND WISE."
Hope answered your question very briefly.

Sleeping is no different that eating. If you don't get enough your health is effected.
