Well, India is such a big place that there are different kinds of dishes everywhere you go. I'm indian and some of my favorite things are, masala dhosas (kind of like the indian crepe), thanduri chicken or butter chicken (butter chicken is the curry form of thanduri), Lassis ( drink made with buttermilk, lime, and curd, either salty or sweet), rogan ghosh (goat meat curry), puri ( this type of bread that has air in the inside and is deep fried), vhadas ( like dhonuts, but so much better) and the list goes on and on : )

The food cooked in most Indian Homes is a thali meal consisting of veggies, yogurt, curry, rice, chapati and pickle, chutney and papad.
