I'm offering my solution:
It has been said that the temperature on Earth is getting hotter. In Al Gore’s; "Inconvenient Truth," I heard that a footnote stated; “The Sun is getting hotter” (I have not seen the documentary or read anything on his findings). In DVM’s; "Inconvenient Fact," I heard that the temperature on Mars is getting hotter. At this point in time, I know of no humans living on Mars. Why is the temperature on Mars getting hotter? The Sun is getting hotter. How can we stop Global Warming? Keep in mind; I’m not saying that the Sun is the only reason for “Global Warming,” we have all polluted the Earth. Reducing pollution and conserving energy should be a goal of everyone.
My SOLUTION for Global Warming:
NASA sends a “Sun Shield” with memory metal into space. When deployed, the memory metal will stretch the shield into a large circle or a square. The space shuttle’s astronauts will put the shield into orbit at a location that will block some of the Sun’s rays over a spot on the ocean. This will decrease the Sun’s rays that hit the Earth. Thus, decreasing the surface and ocean temperatures. Because of the decrease in ocean temperature, the number of hurricanes should decrease. Yes, there are more benefits. The size, number of shields, and locations need to be determined. Again, we all need to decrease pollution and conserve on energy.

First of all my job is to stop a large source of carbon pollutants from entering the atmosphere (I am a Wildland Firefighter). Second I drive an eco-friendly car (Volkswagen Turbo Injected Diesel) that gets 50MPH and runs on Bio-Diesel. Third, I am one of the first people in Bellingham, WA to go green by buying the largest percentage of my energy from green sources that the energy company would allow at the time. Fourth, I now subscribe to 100% green at my home. That means that 100% of my home's energy comes from wind, solar, or hydroelectric power. I know it costs more but our planet is worth every dollar we can give.
Oh and by the way, all of you people who are not doing anything or think we don't need to do anything (including the scientist up there) need to do more research. Not just the research that agrees with your view but ALL the research.
I experience every year on a more and more dramatic scale what you say isn't happening. Wildland Firefighters across the nation know for a fact that global warming is a serious crisis and everyone should do something, even if it's a small something. As it is, I see the conditions you say do not exist every year, I see the evident demonstration of realities that you say your charts and graphs do not show. In the end you can tell us it isn't burning, but all we have to do is look outside and see the smoke.

The world is greener now than it was 100 years ago so that isn't an issue. The warming will take place over the next few thousand years I really don't think we need fret that much.

As a scientist I do not see any worth while evidence supporting man made causes to Global Warming and therefore do not alter my lifestyle in any way to change such.
If you look at complete global temperature data there is no statistically significant change in temperatures over recorded history. Present times are fairly close to average temperature wise. There have been hotter periods and colder. In the late 1700's and early 1800's the northern hemisphere was much colder than it is now. When George Washington crossed the Delaware River (remember the painting) he recorded having to move large pieces of ice out of the way to allow the boats to cross. There were no such references to the Delaware freezing in early settler histories from the area. Also, parts of north America are known to have been occupied by rain forests at one point based on fossil records and soil samples.
It is important to remember the Earth is not static and is always changing over time. By trying to adjust climates we are trying to keep it static and will end up doing more harm than good.

I can not do anything to stop global warming.
I can not control the sun.
The planet Pluto is also heating up and as far as I know Pluto has not been impacted by our Greenhouse gas.
I do however believe we should work on our environment as much as possible. I plant trees, I use only organically grown produce. I also work on legislation to prevent urban sprawl and preserve our natural landscape. I think this is important.
I also work to support local farms and to help educate the local farmers about the use of green and earth friendly products.

I have been vigorously advocating a slowdown in the lemming rush to convert to fuels that will do more harm than good.
Here are some interesting data on greenhouse gas production by complete combustion of various fuels. These data can be verified by any high school chemistry student. All that is needed is the realization that H2O vapor and CO2 gas have nearly the same absorption and reflection characteristics in the infrared spectrum.
Ethanol 3.087 g GG per g C2H5OH
Methanol 3.909 g GG per g CH3OH
Decane 4.493 g GG per g C10H22
Octane 4.509 g GG per g C8H18
Heptane 4.520 g GG per g C7H16
Hexane 4.535 g GG per g C6H14
Pentane 4.556 g GG per g C5H12
Butane 4.586 g GG per 1 g C4H10
Propane 4.636 g GG per 1 g C3H8
Ethane 4.730 g GG per 1 g C2H6
Methane 5.000 g GG per 1 g CH4
Hydrogen 9.000 g GG per 1g H2
Although Ethanol and Methanol top the list for "friendly" fuels, they both have the hidden disadvantage of requiring other fuels to produce them.

Practice car-pooling frequently. Decrease the number of cars on the road as much as possible! Ban illegal deforestation and encourage others to recycle! Every single effort to slow global warming today helps to let others to come with even EFFECTIVE ways to actually STOPS global warming tomorrow!

Burning all my trash instead of sending it to the landfill, insisting that my kids leave on every light in the house, and of course, driving my truck all I can instead of that min car thingy.
Seriously little one, by the time you are old enough to make a difference, the Taliban, will make sure you know just what to do, choose in these matters will no longer be an option

WELL, I CREATED A FOTOLOG AND JOINED GREENPEACE AS WELL AS THIS ACCOUNT. I ALSO CREATED A BLOGSPOT INFORMING PEOPLE WHAT'S GLOBAL WARMING AND WHAT THEY CAN DO TO STOP IT.
HOW SELFISH ARE YOU PEOPLE? Especially to all those people who responded: "I'm not doing anything, because for when it takes effect, I'll be dead anyway"
I REALLY CAN'T BELIEVE WHAT I'M READING!

THANK YOU! :) And I want a green earth ;)
OH! AND TO THE SCIENTIST UP THERE, READ THE FOLLOWING WEBPAGE.
