I am having my wedding party and parents over for a Hawaiian themed Rehearsal BBq, the night before the wedding. I need meal ideas that would fit into the Hawaiian theme, appetizers, finger foods, main entree, side dishes and desserts.

Althogh I do realize that pineapple is the main component to Hawaiian meals, I do need some non-pineapple suggestions, one of the bridesmaids and groomsmen are allergic.

Do some Seafood potstickers, Shrimp on a stick w/ wasabi cocktail sauce.
You could do some grilled Szechuan spiced Kabob's w/ peppers, mango and or pineapples, shrimps, pork cubes, or lobster cubes
Szechuan spiced pork ribs (they stay moist)
Hibachi style salmon w/ Tropical Salsa

You could either do a grilled fruit kabob or just mix a lot of Tropical fruit in a bowl then served chilled
Papaya, mango, pineapples, kiwi, strawberries and maybe shave some coconut into the mix for a little crunch or add pineapple juice or coconut milk mixed into the fruit.

Desserts
**Carmalized Banana Tart w/ coconut
*****Ginger ice cream
**Banana & Lilikoi Cheesecake Lumpia with Coconut Ice ****Cream, Drizzled with Strawberry Sauce
**Mango Cheesecake
**Bali Hai Lilikoi Crème Brulee

you could use coconut bowls and fill them w/ Edamame or wasabi flavored nuts for snacking with drinks.

A few Beverage idea...
***Aloha Crush
A tantalizing mixture of Belvedere Orange Vodka,
Pomegranate puree, fresh lime juice and muddled orange
with a float of Malibu Mango.
**Ginger Daiquiri
Fresh ginger and pineapple, muddled, shaken and served
traditionally in a martini glass with 10 Cane Rum and fresh lime juice.
***Passion Fruit Pisco Sour
A perfect blend of Peru's Barsol Pisco infused with
fresh Hawaiian Passion Fruit and a sprinkle of nutmeg.

We had 30 people for our rehearsal dinner and we ate out at a Chinese buffet it was something like 7 dollars per person. You know - it's not tacky to have a buffet and have everyone bring a dish. A friend of mine had a late summer wedding and she served cut up subs from subway and made a simple pasta salad and provided inexpensive drinks and pop. It doesn't have to be the ritz - just realize that nothing is tacky in how you do the wedding day - it's doing something like my rich friends did that is truly tacky - throwing a $30/head fancy rehearsal dinner meal - a $50/head reception, getting married - going on the Hawaii vacation - buying vacation houses together and then breaking up over an internet relationship turned adultery - that's tacky at it's worst - yeah - they talked about how they loved people so much they were going to go into missions but they couldn't even love each other beyond 6 years - I'm sorry - tacky is what happens AFTER the wedding day. Don't worry so much about the wedding day and rehearsal dinner - worry about building a solid relationship that will last - after all - it's not the money - it's your character and who you are that counts.

Lol simply just add pineapple to everything. No jokes. Do a teriyaki chicken or pork for the main course but have pineapple juice and pineapples added to it - hence making pineapple teriyaki chicken. Appetizers - coconut shrimp? buffalo wings glazed with pineapple sweet and sour sauce. Desserts are the easiest - there are some great recipes for pineapple cake with coconut sprinkled on the outside icing. Make sure to serve tropical cocktails or 'mocktails' for the younger kids.

Hi there,
I downloaded Big City Adventure San Francisco for free here: http://bit.ly/1qXDipk

it's a perfectly working link!
While the characters are not the most remarkable part of the game, the graphics and the interface are some of the features that the players usually like of this game.
It's a very nice game.

Have you thought about a pig roast? Most butchers can get you a small pig or a half, so you don't have a huge 200 pound pig.
