I actually do read them. Am I an oddball?

I personally read all of them before voting. Sometimes, though, I think when a question has a LOT of answers, people get tired of reading after the first page, so the following pages have almost no chance of getting voted best answer.

I read them. I usually don't even bother to vote for questions that have too much reading in fact, because I'm lazy, and I refuse to vote on one until I've read them all!

I vote on many that I like and dislike. I have noticed the same phenomenon and think it is probably because people don't have the patience to read the lower/later answers.

I read before I vote. Sometimes I don't vote because I don't feel like reading. Well, not sometimes. Often.

Also, how many people just wait for the latest posts to show up rather than paging through the last day's posts to sincerely answer the questions they really think they have the answer to. Wait a minute, I think I am talking about myself.

Personally, I read them all and choose what I consider the 'best' or most informative.

Depends. If one hits it right on, I don't go any further. That would weight it toward the top.
