What are the warning signs and symptoms of a heart attack?

The warning signs and symptoms of a heart attack are gender-specific, meaning men and women have very different feelings and experiences when a heart attack is occurring. These warning signs are described below:

Men typically experience the following common warning signs of a heart attack:

* Moderate to severe chest pain
* Dizziness
* Shortness of breath
* Nausea
* Radiating pain in the arms and chest

Women may have symptoms that differ from men. While chest pain is often a key warning sign of a heart attack, some women who have a heart attack do not experience chest pain. A woman's pain, may be in the back, arm, neck, shoulder, and/or throat. Also, women will typically have more "non-pain" symptoms than men. These include vomiting, nausea, fatigue and shortness of breath.

It is also surprisingly common for people to experience no symptoms at all. This is especially true of diabetics and those over the age of 75. We recommend that these individuals visit their family physician and/or cardiologist on a regular basis to continually monitor their health.

Do not ignore the warning signs of a heart attack. If you or someone you know is experiencing any of the above symptoms, immediately call 9-1-1 because it is quite possibly signaling a heart attack.
PLEASE REPORT TO YOUR NEAREST HOSPITAL.

I wish I had this 2 years ago when I damaged my rotator cuff while showing off. This is very detailed and really gives you the techniques you need to sort out your own shoulder issues and a lot more info such as preventing further injuries. If you have a shoulder keeping you awake at night you'll know it's no laughing matter.

Muscle spasms associated with growth. Give it a couple of years and the annoyance will move elsewhere. You're 16 and still growing. Generally speaking, when pain is similar to both sides/even on the body, it usually related to growth and possibly healing from exercise. So unless you lift heavy objects using both arms extended or worked out recently, then I would simply associate it with growth. Smoking also causes tendons to harden and muscles to become inflexible, which can potentiate any pain associated with these particular body parts.

You need to go to your normal everyday doctor he will see the cause of this pain. If you have has trouble breathing within the past few days or right now, seek medical treatment A.S.A.P . Also there Is a Main nerve that runs from the left side of the neck all the way down to your left middle finger. crossing over your left collar bone. If a vertebrae is Hemorrhaged or is out of place(Due to Minor Neck Injury) It will cause pain to shoot down your arm. In any case GO SEE A DOCTOR.

Yes, go to A&E or ER now, the reason so many people die of heart attacks is cos they sit about for days wondering about the pain!

More than likely its just muscle strain. Are you at risk for heart trouble? If so I would go have it checked out to be sure.

the fact that it has lasted as long as it has would be a good argument for cardiac pain, suggest you see a doctor as soon as possible
