Aleve has been studied in combination with blood pressure medications to see what if any effect it has on blood pressure, generally the result was a minor increase in blood pressure (~3 mm HG) not enough to be considered clinically significant.
Also, Aleve like other NSAIDs has some anti-platelet benefit. But aspirin is better for this indication.
I would say that Aleve is safe to use so long as blood pressure is regularly monitored and under control. Of course, talk to your doctor about the risk/benefits of all your medications.

This happen to my friend, I sure would give you her address if possible. She was taking three to four Aleve, four times a day for her arthritis, through an mistaken note from her doctor.
After about six months she started feeling funny but put it on to the flu and even increased the Aleve to counteract the flu. She called on night, almost to weak to talk. My wife got the name of her neighbor and called her, she in turn called an ambulance.
Her kidneys had failed, poisoned through the Aleve, one would not come back. After eight months on Dialysis it finally made it, she's better today and part of a quiet and covered up law suit against Aleve. It will be coming out soon.
