I like using the term "environmentally sustainable" because "green" is over used. Because of its common use, companies and other agencies use the look of "green" in advertising and campaigns to get our money without doing anything that is beneficial to the environment. "Environmentally sustainable" implies a higher level of ecological responsibility. It refers to practices and products that will not put a strain on the earth even if thousands of humans are using it.

Well a variance on green, "saving green".

Because let's face it, envirofriendly appliances and such may cost a little extra at first, but you have a ton of cash over the life of these things. It's also the same for envirofriendly anything, from driving less, to buying a hybrid, to composting(because then you don't have to buy composted soil for the garden, duh), to having a backyard garden, to planting a tree by your house(shade saves money), they all do that magical thing we love called "saving green".

Plus you can have a great slogan, like "Don't hate, I'm saving green y'all."
