nb.the wallpaper was painted with emulsion paint ! i have had problems with gloss in the past.

Hi,I am not astmatic & like you have been decorating am aching like mad not out of breath.Maybe you have done too much or it could be fumes from removing wallpaper (paste)
hope your feeling better & good Luck with the decorating.I have finished a bedroom & living room.Now got the passage,dining room,kitchen & another bed room.Have you noticed you start 1 room & the rest look grubby forgot also have the bathroom to do.Ouch

I am also asthmatic and I have also removed wallpaper. The steam doesn't help me and makes me feel I need to breathe harder. The paste doesn't smell good but I don't remember any problems with breathing around it. Did you treat the wallpaper with chemicals before removing it. If so, that might be it or it might just be the fact that you were being physical which brought on a shortness of breath.

Yes, it's the fumes from the dryed wallpaper paste that you have just moistened and the dust from the paper, it doesn't happen with everyone so go outside for a bit and get some fresh air and let someone else have a go.

Could be either over exertion of an allergy. Wear a mask next time and take it slow and easy. Hopefully you will be OK taking those measures. Maybe get a review of you asthma medication.....

allergies wear those breathing mask that filters out pollen, dust, cemicals in glue could be many things, should call in help.
