What does this question have to do with vegetarianism?

There is debate about whether or not Animal Crackers are actually crackers or cookies. They are like crackers due to the way they are made, with layered dough, however the use of sweetened dough gives them the cookie taste and consistency.

They are crackers, but they taste good like cookies! The word cracker is in animal crackers. I can see why someone might think they are cookies.

They should actually be called "Animal Snackers" as they truly are neither a cracker nor a cookie. I suppose that they are crackers based on their light and crunchy consistency, but in the definition, they are usually made with unsweetened dough. Those rebels!

They are really cookies but they call em crackers.

Much like Dog Biscuits that are not really biscuits.
