Spinach as the base (veg 1) then chop and layer on top:
tomatoes (actually a fruit)
avocado (also a fruit)
strawberries (fruit 3)
red onions (veg 2)
apples (fruit 4)
red peppers (also actually a fruit)
sliced red or green grapes (fruit 6!)
then toss a nice balsamic vinegrette over:
balsamic vinegar
olive oil
finely chopped garlic
salt and pepper to taste
and that is a fantastic salad! I eat it alot and love it!
Of course you can use lettuce instead or whatever fruits you prefer.
Good luck!
p.s. why do you HAVE to use 6 F and 2 V? Just curious...

Mandarin oranges are always a good fruit to add to any salad. They go well with any oil-based dressing. Try several different types of greens like romaine, baby spinach, spring greens, radichio, arugala. Tomato and grapes are good, too.

Craisins.... I didn't see them mentioned.... I love them on salads!!!!
Six different fruits and only two veggies... Sounds like you are making a fruit salad..... How about:
Oranges
Craisins
Grapes
Diced Apple
Honeydew Melon
Canteloupe Melon
Diced, peeled cucumber
Shredded carrots
Yum!
Actually, that sounds really good and I just made it up.... I should try it sometime! :)
Good luck!

you could try my dads asian salad, any vegies and fruit will do,the less water in it is better though. 8 is alot but try things like apples, tomatoes, celary, cantalope, honeydew melon, mandarin oranges, clemontines or regular oranges, seedless grapes, fresh pineapple or drained canned pinapple. just cut everything up, and add half a teaspoon or less of cayann pepper and 8 ounces of plain yougert per gallon size portion.,
