You'll have to check yor recycling company to see what they take. Most recycling companies take #1 because they are the easest to recycle. Check the number on the bottom of your bottle (in the little triangle). If you recycling company doesn't take it, set it aside in a box of it's own & surf the net for other recycling companies.
We drive 70 miles once a year to recycle items our recycling company doesn't take. We normally do this on our way out for our anniversary,, so it's not a special trip to recycle.

Most likely you can. You didn't say if it were plastic or not.
If you look on the bottle, look for the little recycling emblem. If it has that, it is OK to recycle. Or there may also be something that reads "Do not recycle." It would be best to follow that.
Not all plastics or bottles for that matter can be recycled, though I wish they could.
Good luck Hon!

These days we can recycle almost anything. It is us that have to choose to recycle it or just to throw it away with other "stuff" in the trashcan. We can recycle from metals to food waste and everything between. Here is a good website to find recycling center throughout the US and more information on recycling.
