I want to be able to fit inside of it. Having it be sturdy with the ablility to transport it would also be a plus!

Believe it or not this has more to do with metaphysics, than actual physics. In his book The Sacred Mushroom (1959) Henry (Andrija) Puharich (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Andrija_Puharich) conducted experiements with people who had ESP talents. His experiment noted that there was a marked improvment if these experiements were conducted inside a faraday cage.

Not that I have ESP talents, but I have always wondered if there would be a difference in my meditation or sleep (read dream) visualizations. Feel free to call me a crackpot, they said the same thing about Galileo.

Easy and cheap is to make a coffin shaped frame out of 2x2 wood or PVC pipe from the plumbing or lawn irrigation aisle.
Then wrap it in tinfoil (cheap but not durable) or wire mesh/ metalic flysceen.

Why do you want a Faraday cage you can fit in?
You should consider what sort of currents may be flowing through the cage, if it vaporises, the protection it provides may be compromised. In other words, stay away form lightning storms.

How big of one are you talking about? Hardware cloth (galvined wire mesh) is fairly cheap for a big one.
