All together we will have 9-10 kids at the house, what can I do to amuse them without driving us crazy. We have a playset for my 4 year old and plenty of toys but I'm afraid that will only last so long..please help!! I thought about getting a kiddie pool but that may be a disaster with the kids running in and out.

Kids, especially that many, will always find something to do and ways of entertaining themselves.

Just offer up balls, simple games - bean bag toss, horseshoes, video games... or something that will keep them outside, if that's your desire.

Outdoor activites: light balls, nerfs, bean bag toss, horseshoes, badmidton, tether ball, croquette, sidewalk chalk, bikes, trikes, wiffle ball, frisbee... set-up a treasure hunt,. You can find outdoor game sets at wal-mart and target or sporting good stores. Who knows... the kids may just play tag or hide &seek. Set up a Pinata...

Indoor activities: vid games, movies, board games, drawing boards, pin-the-tail...

Pools and that type of stuff require clothes changes... etc. Which seems more of a hassle.

What are the age range and mix, more boys than girls... etc.

If u dont want to get a pool, get a "Slip and Slide". The kids will enjoy this more and it doesnt make as much of a mess. If this doesnt work, try getting a pin the tail on the Donkey. If this doesnt work either, get a knife. Kids nowadays enjoy chopping off each others fingers 1 by 1. They laugh wickedly as the blood drips down.............

Coloring book and sticker books are great for younger kids. A good kid friendly array of movies, board games especially something like Disney's Scene It, any kind of simple crafts but, if you are wanting them outside, sidewalk chalk, badminton, kites, bubbles, water guns(if ur brave), and balls kids are great at making up their own entertainment but make sure your in on the ideas.

You can set up the game pictionary. Get large pieces of paper divide them up into two groups and buy the game. There is a kid version with easier things to draw. Have Fun!

Rent a bounce house. It recently saved my party. Can be expensive but WELL worth it.
