Normal is anywhere between 90 and 120 for the systolic (top number) and between 60 and 80 for the diastolic (bottom number). High blood pressure is 140/90, but if you are in the 90-120/60-80 range, you are fine!
Also, your blood pressure is also dependent on your level of daily physical activity and diet!

Your pulse is a little high but I have had high pulse most of my life. Your blood pressure readings are more important and it should be for your age around 120/80 but not higher than 135/80. This is what I've done. I bought a Schwynn airdyne stationary exercise bicycle. Put it where you watch T.V. and pedal for 20 min. everyday. You can do this even during commercials. I have done this now for the last 20 years. You will feel good and become more fit. I also have hand held weights 5 and 10 lbs and do my biceps, tticeps, shoulder exercises 15 reps.. Go for a walk when the weather is nice but either walk or bicycle everyday. Don't skip meals but do eat very slowly. Chew each bite 40 times. Eat salad that is prewashed before lunch and dinner. The salad will feel you up and you will eat less. Eat only chicken and fish. If you need recipes let me know. Eat a banana everyday with a high fiber cereal but no sugar. Eat whole grain breads and limit to one slice per meal. Reduce salt and buy Mrs Dash's spices. Drink water before your meals. Cut down on beer and other drinks because that can add weight plus raise your blood pressure. Use extra virgin olive oil for sauteing your vegetables and meats. Eat vegetables with every meal and eat fruits for dessert instead of sweets. Watermelon , plums, oranges and apples are great. Have a variety of fruits in your refrigerator at all times. Once in a while you can have a little chocolate but limit the size. For snacks eat a fruit or a few almonds or walnuts. Don't buy potato chips or french fries. Drink green tea, it has antioxidants. Take a small step everyday to be healthier and you will be pleased with yourself. I have practiced this lifestyle for the last 20 years. We live by habits and if you can change just one thing every month, it will help for the rest of your life. You are young and you can do this. Good luck.

3 years ago, I was diagnosed - hypertension with a reading of 160/100. I used to feel dizzy a lot, my legs had awful cramps, and levels were very low in my potassium, causing my fingers and toes to always cramp together. One day I started to feel really faint while I was driving with my daughter in the back seat and I passed out, hitting 3 cars and ending up in a ditch. That moment,I knew I had to do something because my meds weren't working. I heard about this diet from a friend and thought I'd give it a shot. The results have been remarkable. In just 21 days, I honestly can't remember feeling this good, my blood pressure went from 175/110 to 125/70.
