I have a lot of horse manure that I would donate to be composted to increase the productivity of soils in ares where food is scarce. Who should I contact to have it picked up and transported where it needs to go?

This plan might be feasible if the area that needs the fertilizer is near enough to the place where the manure is being produced. Otherwise, the transportation might cost more than the fertilizer is worth.

Advertise the manure on a trading website or in the local paper.

You have to think on how it would be transported, by horse? And why are'nt you useing it. You have to put back what you take out.

i would start with a garden center - i would think you could compost it yourself - maybe look into ways of recycling it for your own energy use.
