you should go to a pool and like get music and food out on the deck so people who dont want to swim can chat , dance , and eat!
if a pool is not available to you you should put on music and definately food. choose dancible music.
;) hope that helps

So you're actually having two celebrations!!! Saying goodbye to the school year and happy birthday to you! So, invite your closest friends to participate in a scavenger hunt, leaving clues all over town and ending up at your place or your favorite place. Hire a dj if you can and rent a dance floor. Decorate with tons of little white lights and balloons. Have a buffet of pizza, salad, burgers, hot dogs, chips, dip, veges and dip, fruit kabobs, and a huge cake that says "Happy Days!" to celebrate both. Provide frozen drinks that resemble margaritas or daquiris and you should be the talk of the town.

if it's for a kid=they love chuckey cheese or any pizza place that has games and prizes where they can run around.
if it's an adult the best wing joint in town.where you can chatter away about summer vacation and the past year highlights.
