I don't think I've had Gardenburgers, but Boca was my favorite sub-meat patty for a while, until...

I learned that Boca is owned by Philip Morris (altria.com), the Big Tobacco company. Philip Morris owns tons of food companies, including Post, Oreo, and the very famous animal crackers (Barnum's Animals) which has been a topic here in this forum numerous times... [Do vegetarians eat animal crackers?]

I refuse to buy Boca anymore. After all, why would I trust this killer company with my food?

Thought I'd just share.

*best wishes*

properly..... it was once that Boca burgers have been made to look/style like beef burgers..... And Gardenburgers have been a mixture patty of mushrooms, cheese, grains, and so on..... I nonetheless completely choose the unique Gardenburger over ALL varieties accessible.... yet i've got observed that now.... Boca sells a version that's resembling Gardenburger type and vice verse... Gardenburger i think of has a version that's extra like a "meat texture/style" like the unique Boca burgers.... it extremely is complicated... exceptionally to meat eaters that can no longer tell the version the two way. I shop telling my spouse's mom before going to her abode for a bbq that I choose *gardenburger - unique* and every time she has a equipment of Boca's sitting in her freezer merchandising "NOW with extra beef-like style...!" or some such nonsense. i've got found out to in basic terms carry my very own... ::sigh::

Gardenburger.

Everything I have ever had of theirs has been very good: Original, Vegan, Chik n Grill, Flamed Grilled, Classic, Portabella, Riblets and the now defunct Meatloaf. Has anyone tried their breakfast sausage?

p.s.
Amy's Texas burger is also worth a try.
