Husband said to get out because people will wonder if I have a disease and am leaving it in the hot tub. I dont but it made me wonder. What if someone else with HIV (or something else) was the one who was bleeding in the hot tub. Could it live there and transfer to to someone else later? What about the pool?

pools and jacuzzis are commonly treated heavily with chlorine bleach, you have nothing to worry about.

No virus even HIV can survive more than 6 minutes outside body.

No your fine, that's what chlorine is used for. Not many viruses survive diluted in chlorine water or on inanimate objects.

i do not think so/i would go get a tetanus shot though if urs is not up to date

well...tetanus is advisable...hep B,C are possible,but,unlikely,staph would be more likely...keep clean and use topical antibiotic.
