I have herpes type 2. You definately aren't alone it's very common. They say 1 out of 4 adults have it. H-Power!!! lol

I've had genital herpes caused by herpes simplex virus 1 for 6+ years. I've never had cold sores.

It depends on what kind of herpes. Most people have oral herpes (cold sores). I'm not sure how prevalent genital herpes is, and honestly I don't think many people are gonna tell someone they have it.
