In the absence of simultaneous pulse-rates, it's a bit difficult to answer you sensibly. But it seems (superficially at least) that your mean blood pressure is too low for comfort. (Mean pressure is 68, compared with typically 95 to 110)). It depends a lot on what medication you're on.
If you're a dear old Lady of 85, doing nothing all day, I shouldn't be worried overly... but if you're 35, vibrant, and looking forward to a long, healthy future, I'd be bothered.

Actually, 150/70 is not high at all. I'd buy a blood pressure monitor so you can check your blood pressure at home. You can get one at Wal-Mart for around $30. If it consistently stays above 140/80, I'd go back to the doctor. They may put you on a mild blood pressure medicine, such as Ziac. If it ever spikes to something around, say, 180+/90+, I'd try to see a doctor fairly soon.

The bottom number, known as diastolic, is what most doctors worry about more than systolic, the top number. A diastolic number of 44 is slightly low, as most doctors would say a normal diastolic number is about 75. You should have your BP checked several times to be sure that this is really an accurate number. This should not be taken as actual medical advice but as a supplement to the opinions of a licensed doctor. The advice of a doctor should recieve more credit than a person on the internet that is not a doctor and is not supplying treatment and is not able to reference a medical history.

The systolic pressure is fine, but the diastolic pressure is very low. Perfect used to be 120/80, now it's considered: 110/70. So, I'm a bit concerned -- go to this site and see what they say: WEB-MD.COM

where did you have it checked at. you should double take it. the 116 is fine but the 44 is a bit low. it can be low for numerous reasons such as dehydration,if you are an athletic person, blood pressure medicine.

The question to ask yourself is, "is this normal for me"? The 44 is little low but may be normal for you. This number is a measurement of how elastic your arteries are. Sounds good right? If this your normal. Do you have a change in this BP when you change positions, sit to stand? That is something different at which case drinking more water can help. Connie

tHE YSTOLIC READONG. WHICH IS THE TOP READING IS VERY NORMAL. tHE BOTTOM, DIASTOLIC READING IS A LITTLE LOW. iN THE PAST DOCTORS DIDN'T WORRY ABOUT THE DIASTOLIC READING TOO MUCH. nOW IT IS POSSIBLE THAT SOMETHING COULD BE WRONG. dON.T WORRY THOUGH, iT TAKES A WHILE FOR THE READING TO GO EVEN LOWER. cALL YOUR DOCTOR AND SEE WHAT HE WANTS YOU TO DO.
