Mice are a delicacy in some cuisines, but what is such a question doing on a Vegetarian and Vegan board?

Technically, you probably could.... Though it would be a VERY bad idea! If you're talking wild mice, diseases and all sorts of nasty parasites are very realistic and something I'm sure you don't want... Even store bought mice, from the pet store, were not bred with intention to be used as human grade food - you don't know what they've been fed so far throughout their life or where exactly they've been.

Who's the daftie? Did you hope that lots of veggies would get all upset? You must be about 12.
Dormice were an English delicacy in Tudor times, when they weren't so rare. They ate about 20 courses, so they wouldn't have had to have eaten loads just to fill their tums

in history up to 18 something when steam ships were popular it was common for ships boys to catch rats and i suppose mice they would skin them and sell them they were called millers you would eat all not sure about the tails crunching the bones like larks gross but true ships food was not nice and fresh meat on a long voyage was not common

Of course you can eat anything that lives. The French cuisine was formed on the eating of rats during the Revolution when sauces were evolved to make them more palatable.

Vegetarians do not eat animals, and mice are animals, so no, we don't eat mice. Computer mice would probably be okay, but I wouldn't recommend it.

Mice, sure. But it will make it harder to use your computer.

Keyboards get to be a mouthful, though.

It's possible to I guess but not if your vegetarian or vegan as they are an animal.

If your not vegetarian or vegan you probably wouldn't want to either.

Why is this in our section anyway?
