No. The only two types of beans that are GOOD sources of protein are soy and lentils. Others are "okay" sources of protein, and other still are pretty bad sources of protein.

You have to keep in mind that the raw amount (mg/g) of proteins isn't the issue. It's the types of proteins prevalent in them. The body needs 9 types of proteins to survive.

Again, if you are talking about protein for the human diet, every living thing on the planet is filled with proteins, they are the "building blocks of life" as they say. Therefore, as long as you eat, you will get what you need, but not only that, amino acids are what we use to 'make' our own protein. Any whole proteins consumed will be broken down into amino acids, and then sent to where ever they are needed and put back together into proteins that make up our body. Try to eat more amino acids and fewer whole proteins in order to conserver the energy/nutrients it takes to break whole proteins down. You'll find that most fresh fruits are usually full of amino acids, not to mention other foods.

Beans can be an excellent source of protein. And if you combine beans (a legume) with a grain ie pasta, rice, cornmeal, whole wheat bread etc OR nuts or seeds such as sesame, pumpkin, walnuts etc, you will create a complete protien. Complete protiens contain all 9 essential amino acids. You can combine them at the same meal or throught the same day.

Most beans are a great source of protein. They do lack the amino acids you would get from meats though.

Beans are a good source of vitamins, energy and fibre, regardless of how Hi protein they may or may not be. Oh yeah,they taste good, too.

NO. Just starchy beans. legumes, and peas like red kidney beans, navy (white) beans, blackeyed peas, etc. Green or wax beans are not high in protein, and are barely nutritive, to be honest.
