Make little place cards for your table and place them in front of each of these foods for your American Idol party:
Simon Cowell Kabobs: skewer fruit onto party picks and serve with Hawaiian fruit dip
SuperStar sandwiches: Since the point of American Idol is to be a star, serve finger sandwiches cut into star shapes using a star cookie cutter.
Paula Punch: Mix one large can pineapple juice, one frozen can orange juice (thawed) and one 2-liter bottle of Sprite in a punch bowl. Voila...Paula Punch!

Why not serve food from the cities former winners have been from? I dont' watch AI, so I have no clue. But if someone is from Texas, have a no-bean chili and call it "So and So's Chili." If someone is from Philadelphia, have Cheese Steak Sandwiches. If a winner is from Birmingham, AL, have Okra & Tomatoes or Fried Cchiken. Give them all names that refer to an AI star.
