As everyone has hyped hybrids and ethanol we still have the same problem. What happens when the worlds population triples in 20 years? Are we all going to be using Hydrogen or Gas still? The answer is in zero point energy and kinetic energy.

Lets get moving on pushing this tech forward.

Unfortunately scientist live in a box these days and yes you can get power from kinetic energy.

Just remember that Oil Companies control the worlds power. Politicians aren 't doing anything to help the situation cause revenue is generated to states on gas taxes. So like BIG OIL they are looking for only ways they can continue to make money off us poor individuals. ;o(

OK, so your practical plans for using this energy are . . .

Don't you think our methods for treating cancer are 'ancient technology'. (Radiation and chemotherapy). they are terribly barbaric, and surely there must be SOMETHING better. However, just wanting better methods does not mean they will suddenly exist.

Yes the combustion engine is old. (Especially by technological standards) But where is the 'new' version of this technology. You mention 'zero-point energy' and 'kinetic energy.' I know what kinetic energy is, it is not a source of energy, it is what we have to burn fuel to give our car.

Before suggesting that current technology is antiquated and that we need newer methods, maybe you should explain your ideas.

Lucky for us the world population is not going to triple in 20 years.

But I agree than our energy technology seems primitive compared to what I would like to see. Become a scientist or engineer and invent something like a small fusion reactor or something cool like that.

I agree. I mean, it is a technology that has barely changed in 100 years!
