My little sister was diagnosed with Sudden Onset Diabetes about a year ago. She dropped to 90 something pounds out of nowhere, she was VERY thirsty all the time, she had to urinate constantly, she was so weak that she couldn't even stand up in the shower, and she had spells where she would almost pass out.

If you even THINK you may have Diabetes, go to your doctor and get tested. My sister's blood glucose level was above 700 which is DANGEROUSLY high and she was lucky to be okay. You don't want to mess around with this, so get checked if you have these signs.

There are the 3 P's that should cause you to be suspicious. Polyuria (urinating a lot), polyphasia (eating a lot, always hungry) and polydipsia (drinking a lot, thirsty constantly). If you have the symptoms go to a doctor to be checked out. There are other things but can be vague, such as being tired, blurry vision, etc. Still need to see a physician for complete work up and proper diagnosis.

There are two types of diabetes. Type 1, and Type 2. You are probably refering to type 2. Your blood sugar limits should be above 80. Its called a CBG in the hospital. There is real no upper limit set in stone. I have seen people in the high one hundreds and they were fine. Low blood sugar usually starts with nausia and dizzyness. And what is called an altered level of consciouness. Simple questions become hard to answer. From there people become very sweaty all over. Dry mouth can accompany this as well. Once blood sugar levels drop to the range of 1-40, spells of unconsiouness can occur. Even seizures. Blood sugar can also go crazy high. Thats when you notice sweating as well, but the urge to urinate. Its your body trying to purge itself of excess sugars. Yellow, and potent urin. Both of these are true medical emergencies. Low blood sugar can be treated pre-emergency by eating a peanut butter and jelly sandwich. A candy bar for the quick sugar hit. Then some carbs to sustain yourself. Paramedics will give you oral glucose, or D50. Which is I.V. sugar. High blood sugar levels can only be treated in the hospital.

A number of clinical studies have been carried out in recent years that show potential links between herbal therapies and improved blood glucose control, which has led to an increase in people with diabetes using these more 'natural' ingredients to help manage their condition.

The normal type of symptoms you will have for type two diabetes are thirst, peeing a lot, sleeping all the time and being irritable.
If you get down to your doctors they can run a very simple pain free test to see if you are diabetic.
Good Luck.
