do i have diabetes?

i go to the toilet a lot but thats because i drink a lot. but i drink a lot because i eat a lot so does that all even out? and after eating, i get tired so i go to sleep. do i have diabetes?

you would pee a lot to get rid of the extra water you are drinking. Eating a lot should not make you drink a lot unless it was salty food. After eating most of the brains blood goes to your stomach to help digest your food, so therefore that makes you sleepy. I doubt you have diabetes but if you are concerned talk with your Md.

Maybe, maybe not. The best way to find out is to see your doctor so they can do a Fasting Blood Sugar Test. I am a diabetic and apparently I had it (Type II) for quite some time and never knew it until I was admitted into the hospital for another problem. Those could be symptoms of high blood sugar but, like you said, it may be just your body's way of balancing your fluids. The only answer to your question is to see your doctor if you even think you might have it, especially if you have a family history of it. Hopefully, you don't have it cause it is a very difficult disease to live with. Good Luck.

They're symptoms of diabetes however there are loads of factors that can cause these symptoms, change in weather, diet and putting on weight.
I'd suggest going to a pharmacy or doctors surgery just to get it checked out, they'll do a blood test and test your sugar level and maybe a few other things while you're there.

I don't know if you have diabetes. be safe and go to a med. clinic for a blood test. that is the only way i know of to be sure. be sure to tell them your symptoms. good luck, and stay healthy.

Well if you haven't had a problems regarding diet (blood sugar levels) then I don't think you do. However if you are really concerned, you can get examined by your doctor.
