I'm getting about sick of drawing my eyebrows on and I would let them grow back but from an accident that left a scar that you can't see the left side wont grow back right. Does anyone know how painful it really is I have a tattoo on my leg and that didn't really hurt but this is my face were talking about...please I need some advice.

Also How often do you have to get them touched up or redone? Does anyone know about how much it is?

Eyebrow tattooing can be beautiful or it can be a disaster. You absolutely need to research a potential artist. Look at photos of their work If you don't like their "style" - don't do it.
The cost is between $200-500 for complete eyebrows and they should include at least one touch up with that price. Find someone who works conservatively and that you will have an option to go darker and thicker if you wish at the touch up visit - all inclusive of price.
Brow tones are not very stable so you will likely need them touched up every couple years - the touch up fee is something to investigate as well when you are interviewing possible artists. Look here for someone: www.spcp.org

My mom has the eyebrows and eyeliner tattoo. She said it didnt hurt at all.. She came home an hour later after having it done, and she was in no pain whatsoever. I kept insisting that it hurt her, but she said it really didnt.. and shes the kind of lady that would go to the hospital for any little injury.

Make sure you research the history of the place you go to. If they mess up you have to go around that way forever. Good luck.

I have seen it and I don't think it looks good. But it probably wouldn't hurt much more than your leg did.

my friend had hers done and she likes it it looks good. expensive but she loves it. it cost her about 500 but hey it is on your face make sure it looks good and go to a good artist to get it done. as for pain she said it hurt but she has went through worse.

well ni think you should let your own eyebrows grow and just get them waxed... tattooed eyebrows is very stupid and looks to un-natural.

There is a numbing spray they use on the skin. It shouldn't hurt.
