Not a lot. They're afraid they might step on a bug, so they'll be fighting with brooms rather than guns, to sweep as they walk.

India has a horrible supply line preventing it from doing much. For having over a billion people they still can't seem to move around in their own back yard. Five million Indians in Afganistan and the progress there would be much swifter. Put another 10 million Indians in Iraq and the fighting would die down in a few weeks. Also the Indian navy could help stop the mass amount of piracy that is plaguing the waterways south of Indonesia.

india's army technologically (armament) is okay not that good in logistics but the air force and navy are top grade technologically india's navy will be third best by 2009 /2010 behind USA and UK
in the world in terms of power we rank behind USA UK china that also includes the willingness to go to war without any govt political intereference

India built up a large military to defend themselves against a possible attack from Red China. Now they are more concerned about Pakistan.

Believe it or not, India is one of the most powerful nations on earth. They have the worlds' third largest army, fourth largest navy and fifth largest air force. They are one of only a few nations capable of projecting military power world wide. They have nuclear, biological and chemical capacities and a well trained, experienced officer corps. They are not to be taken lightly. I'm glad they're our allies.

i think that india as well as pakistan form a highly formidable military standard in the world. their advances when it comes to technology are of a great standard. im not too sure how they stand against the super powers though

usa suports pakistan and pakistan is indians main enemy
russia gived india a FREE aircarafts carrer (it was an old one)
russians are bulding a number of their nukler ractors
russians gived them t90 wich only 2 contries have it (russia and china )
i think russians are giving them more than usa
