The only person who can save someone.....is that person who needs to be saved... they would do this by changing their lives not through someone but by doing good deeds and following what we should do either through the ten commandments or Hadith or whatever it is your religions says are the way man should behave

Christians cannot save anyone. The Holy Spirit convicts people of sin and Jesus saves them. God can and does use Christians to influence people but 'saving' belongs to Jesus who died for our sins.

Hi Johnny, I have always thought that God does the saving and that all we can do is to bring the message and compassion of Christ to those around us,perhaps some have lost the plot and beleive in their own power these days and perhaps this is why we are not seeing mass conversions.
If you just preach at people instead of showing a good example what strength of conviction are you presenting.

You can not save anyone on this site, but in the real world people are very interested and really want to hear about the Bible and what it has to say. I never come in here with any idea of trying to save atheist, they are on their own. It's like they say..never talk religion or politics and that's the truth. I just do it when I'm in the mood to debate, but one would be foolish to take anyone on here serious.

It is impossible to save people.
He who endures to the end shall be saved.

If you try to "save" people, you've got a serious arrogance problem.
Put a little thought into this for a second. You're a born-again Christian, you don't know much about the world, or about religion, or science, and you take it upon yourself to try to convince someone else to take up your supernatural beliefs. If you kept it to other people who also don't know much, fine, you might get some recruits and you won't piss off too many others. But you don't - you do in indiscriminantly, going after college-educated people as well, and then you complain about being "persecuted" when it doesn't go well.

Well, it is not us Christians who save, it is Jesus who saves. We just witness to people and try and win souls for Jesus. Yes, it is hard at times, but this is our duty we are called to do.

It is not the "responsibility" for Christian's to save anyone. Our job is to bring the light. The Holy Spirit is responsible for "saving" those that want to be saved.
Bring the light, brother!
