To me, it's love. To love, and to be loved by others. I will even go so far as to say that's what I live for. Is this a stupid thought, or do other people feel the same way? I am asking this because somebody actually tried to make me feel bad for being like this.

For some reason the Wizard's advice to the Tin Man comes to my mind...
"Remember this, my friend..a heart is not measured by how much you love...but how much you are loved by others..."
The Tin Man (from the old movie, The Wizard of Oz, we've all seen it) was such a loveable character, for a guy without a heart. I guess he was so busy loving everything and everyone around him, he never noticed how very much he was loved in return.

I think that this life was given to us as a test…I see it as a huge examination hall…so to me the most important thing in life is to pass its tests and win the after life.
Love? I feel that the majority of people wants to receive love but fail to give it back…but is it the most important thing in life?...I fear if one makes it their only goal, then they may suffer severely b/c love givers are very much less than takers!

First, the promise for Salvation for Jews and Christians is Dueteronmy 6;4-5. "The Lord your God is One. You shall love your God with all yout heart, with all your soul, and with all your might." The translations of the Hebrew word translated today as love, 400 years ago, was translated as charity, but it means to use understanding and to give respect. and for God, to offer awe. You must avoid the 4 unforgiveable sins. First do not Slander the Isrelites, nor any people of God. Second do not slander the Holy Spirit of reason, rational discourse, and ciility. Third, those who prevent the little children from coming unto the moral teacher Rabi Jesus, shall not be forgiven in this world nor the next. Fourth, note Mathew 6: 14-15. "Forgive me my sins as I forgive those who sin against me. For if you do not forgive those who sin against you, the Lord your God, shall not forgive your tresspasses.."

The most important thing in life is to have eternal life that never get sick. If I have love but I die still, its just nothing. Better to practice Stoics principle of "Lets drink and be merry for tommorow we will die" Take the way of hope by the Bible Christians that dying or living in this physical earth, they have the assurance of eternal life in Jesus. And Jesus demonstrated it personally by resurrecting from the dead.

A life without love would be dismal indeed, but the most important thing is life is salvation through Jesus Christ, available to all people everywhere. It is of ultimate importance because we have eternal souls.

Love yourself first and then share your love.
It took me many years to realize this. Still today it's a struggle.
People and religions actually "condemn" me for simply being born. I have to believe in myself and love myself regardless. This allows me to see the love in others.

Of making books there is no end and much study is a weariness of the flesh. Let us hear the conclusion of the matter. Fear God and keep his commandments for this is the whole * man.

God is supposed to be # 1 in our lives then everything else will fall in place.
Loving people and wanting love in return is human nature, don't let anyone down you for that.
