Does having a different point of view mean you hate someone? Does not believing in someone's mythology mean that you hate them? People use the h word a lot around here. Its supposed to be all spiritual and stuff.

B00G1....you do believe in mythology, you call it your religion. When I point that out, am I hating you or stating an opinion. BTW, telling people that they're goig to hell, based on a myth, is a wee bit hateful. Sorry, just putting that out there.

I don't believe in mythology but I certainly don't hate anyone just for their beliefs. Whatever they may be. It is easy to flame (arcane?) someone in here without consequence, so words are not always as measured as they should be. I have been accused of being very hateful because of; for instance my belief on what happened at Sodom and Gomorrah. I firmly believe it is an example to unbelievers. A lesbian took great offense at me and told me she only deals with real Christians not hatemongers like me. If I say 'that will likely take you to Hell' if you continue in it'. Then I am branded a hatemonger. So be it. Jesus asked "should I do good or do evil on the Sabbath?" because He was accused of being in alliance with the devil.

I agree, it seems that the mentality here is one of tribalism and if you are not of the same opinion as me then you are always wrong.
I have seen many statements from all kinds of people here that have had sense and logic but yet they have been hammered simply because they are of a different mind-set.
I would be shocked if this was done purely from hatred as this forum is supposed to build up relationship between members and not for tearing down.
