I mean I recently visited a question involving a person both obviously in debt, and breaking a very simple 'law' of etiquette, and all I saw were rampant thumbs down, heartless non-constructive answers being in the majority, and venom spewed forth like sour milk. Maybe the category should be re-named......Inherently bad natured people who would like to come forth and vent their Mighty Wrath?

I've been stupid enough to comment on that a few times when I've seen it. There is no end to the names a person will be called for no reason sometimes. Profanities hitting the ceiling.

And what's really sad is when people posting a questin has to specify "Please no rude answers" ... and all the worse it gets of course.

And yes, the thumbs down game, sigh.

I get the same thing quite often. You answer a question in earnest, with careful thought only to earn thumbs down by inconsiderate individuals.

Interesting. Also in chat rooms people in general are rude, arrogant and hostile.
