Ya you are right, there are much bad effects than good effects:
1. Ice, glaciers, seas get flooded.
2. Lands become submerged into sea.
3. Heat gets increased
4. Ozone layer gets depleated.

I dont think it have good effects.

Global warming is a natural phenomena. From the icy days, when the earth was formed, there has been a steady increase in the global temperatures. Right now, the scientist are only worried about the rate at which the temperature is rising.

There are many good effects, which many people are ignorant. In cold climates during winter, plants do not grow due to insufficient temp and light. Artificial greenhouse effect is created to increase the temperature. During such times, should the world temp be increased, there would be all-year agri-production and save millions from starvation.

You all know the negative effects, but most of you are not aware, that the biggest cause of global warming is due to the generation of carbon dioxide, the gas which every single human being, plants and animals exhale out. This is the biggest source of CO2 generation- can we reduce this emission?? Is wars a good solution??Is famine and starvation a good solution??

My friends, do not be carried away from the hype created in the world by vested interested countries on global warming and climate change. No one really knows the exact solution, all are trying the luck to see if something can be done. The real threat to the globe are: Pollution, Population Growth and Resource depletion. No one from the scientific community or the business community or the political community are discussing about these real threats, where millions are affected every day in every part of the world??

The only good effect I've ever heard of is the opening of the Northwest passage in Canada, allowing for easier freight passage to Europe without use of the Panama canal. That's it.

The bad are really bad, worse storms, acidic water with lower numbers of fish, rise in ocean levels(most people live near the water, so this is a big one), drought.

Uhm and I'm 24, I will live through this stuff, I'll only be 67 when a big part of it changes, or I should say I'll be around while the changes happen. I'll barely be retired. This isn't a problem just for kids. Only the boomers think that way, which is awful, I mean you don't really love your kids if you're damning them to a worse life than you ever lived.

the negative effects:
=>melting ice n glaciers
=>hurricanes are increasing
=>extinction of polar bears n other rare animals!!!

the positive effect:
In a warmer world most of the warming wud occur in the polar regions. Atm circulation which crucially affect stroms, is driven primarily by the temp difference, or gradient, b/w the tropics n the poles.
In the past warmer periods hv seen a decline in the no, n severity of storms. this is well documented in scientific journals for data extending back centuries, or even millenia. if the surface temp of the planet rises further, it is likely that these declines will continue."

even though the global warming poses a real danger to mankind,
but beyond the bad news lies the good news: GLOBAL WARMING WILL NOT RESULT IN EXTINCTION IN MANKIND.
HUMAN BEINGS WILL CONTINUE TO EXIST, ALTHOUGH THE EARTH AS WE KNOW IT WILL BE ENTIRELY DIFFERENT!!

err..... no there are some good effects, (depending where you live) such as the Russians govt., they dont care about Global warming. They also use still very inefficent polutting factories from the cold war...
It simply means more fertile land for them to grow crops on.

Sure there are lot's of bad problems but some countries particuarly in the colder climates simply dont care about it because in the end it will probably do them good.

Dont get me wrong 99% of it is bad effects.
I am just trying to point out, how some countries simply dont care about the problem as it would cause more fertile lands in their region or microclimate, while the rest of us are frying up.
The bad effects are endless, species dying out, mass poverty, economic problems....
this would only be a good effect in some particular climates...(If this could even be seen as a good thing as many houses will collapse due to the ice melting)
Eg. This year was first year on Record EVER Tokyo has not had a recorded snow fall in their winter time.....

Also many are saying we are in the ADVANCED greenhouse effect stage, as the sun is getting caught in our atmosphere instead of being reradiated out to space as it usually would.
This means that it is heating up a lot faster to every amount of greenhouse gas we put out there....

Thanks..

There is absolutely NO good affect of Global Warming....
Our world is falling apart, and it's all so preventable by US.
I just finished an environmental science class, so this topic is very touchy for me. All the pollution we create, our lack of responsibility for the things we do..this all has an impact. I'll be lucky if my children are able to see half of what they see today 30 years from now. Unless the government steps in and sets some MAJOR regulations, we are in a cycle that is going downhill...fast.

Good effects are a longer growing season for farmers which mean more food, less people dying from the cold weather, more places where people can live and grow food since the climate will be less inhospitable the further north and south you go.bad effects are it might be too hot around the equator for some people but this is cancelled out by the fact that we will be able to live in places that were previously too cold

There are no good effects of global warming. The carbondioxide in the atmosphere is increasing. The green cover is vanishing due to rapid industrialisation. Due to global warming, Glaciers in various areas are melting and water level of oceans are increasing due to which floods the various regions are inundated. Nature is upset with unseasons. Arctic and Antartic poles are more affected due to global warming, glaciers are here fast vanishing here. Flora and Fauna is disappearing. Unless countries all over the world are woken up, the pollution cause major destruction to all living beings. Future holds no rosy picture for coming generations. With harmful effects, the nature plays havoc on the human beings.

Love your avatar! Tornadoes are rather uncommon and short-time period activities and does no longer be envisioned to have any bring about any respect on international warming. international warming might want to substitute the frequency of tornadoes, yet i do not imagine absolutely everyone has fairly studied this. commonly you'll assume that international warming might want to reason a fairly until eventually now start up to the the twister season and develop their selection poleward fairly, yet i imagine those outcomes might want to be minor. it truly is conceivable that their frequency might want to flow down if the north-south temperature gradient decreases, by using the undeniable fact that could also decrease the vertical wind shear, that's an important ingredient for twister formation.

the good effect is that people are realising the importance of global warming for the future world.
the bad effect is that the world is already facing the impact of global warming.
