I am learning on my own and I think this is my language to learn. I learned the alphabet in one night and I fell in love with this language.. any help and techniques in learning would be greatly appreciated. (Παρακαλώ) please

The typical stuff: get familiarized with the language.

Read greek literature or newspapers,
listen to greek songs - radio - native conversations
(if there is such a possibility).
Get acquainted with the accent.

It is important that you get a full grammar guide and study it step be step. Each time choose a topic you like (e.g. the weather) and work with a related text.
Find useful expressions and make lists with them,
Try to change plurals to singulars and vice versa, decline nouns, change the person or the tense of the verb,
Try to make short paragraphs with the greek you've learnt etc.

Get someone to correct you, maybe me.
