One electronic ckt. have one relay of 12v,200 ohm.and one IC ckt, operated by 12v, in its construction.
Then the questions are----

1) Is it possible to provide 12v regulated power supply to both IC and Relay coilusing single power supply with single regulator IC i.e. 4812..

(2) if it is possible , what are the ratings of transformer which i will have to used...

1. Yes. The relay will need to be shunted by a catch diode to avoid damage to the rest of the circuitry.

2. Cannot be determined from the information given. The relay will draw 60 milliamperes, but there is no indication of how much power the rest of the gadgetry will take.

4812 or 7812??

Yes it is possible to provide upto 30 AMPs using 7812 as regulator - you might have to use multiple Power transistors like TIP2955. The expensive part shall be the transformer. You might have to build a custom transformer which can supply your required current.

For example you want to build 12volt, 8Amp power supply - you may use:
Diodes rating for rectifier = 8 amp (use 6A4 diodes in parallel if you can't find 8amp diodes)

Transformer :
Input = 220/240 volt output = 18v or 24 volts
Current rating = 10 amp for 8 amp as final requirement

Remember, for smooth regulation and preventing Transistor heating - use 18 v or 24 transformer - read datasheet of 7812 for clarification.

you can also use 78S12 instead of 78L12

Check the following link for complete schematic - calculate your current requirement - then add TIP2955's accordingly.

You can also alter the power rating of Resistor 100R 0.5 watt mentioned in schematic in the following link to 100R, 5 watt if it blows up very quickly

12/200 = 0.06 A = 60 ma
Derating by a factor of 1.25 gives 75ma
12*0.075 = 0.9 W
A 1 W power supply should be adequate.
