people get married because they need someone in there lives to share a true love, and to have someone in your side so you can count at all times, and because in the bible said that man and woman need to get married so the future sons can live under the love and. protection of both parent, and to become what every body call a family. remember that is this word tha i and going to tell you. I AND GOING TO MY HOUSE
BECAUSE MY FAMILY IS WAITING FOR ME. good luck in your future GOD always love you.

Wow...ever been in a relationship buddy? I mean a really great one? It's no wonder though why you don't seem all excited about it or anything..."I'm a student and expected to marry." Well there's your problem. It's about love and when it's there you're going to want to be with that one person forever. You can't plan for it or anything it just kinda happens but if you don't find it then you shouldn't rush into any major commitments----->marriage! But best of luck to you, get through school and don't worry about anything after. If you find someone then you do but if not then oh well, all you have is time right?

You'll meet a person one day that you enjoy being around more than anyone else. That person you want to be with you as often as possible. Marriage is a legal contract that says that that will happen, and that they will not devote as much time to anyone else.

Sadly, sometimes one person feels that way about a person, but she doesn't feel the same way. In this case, I don't think that you have to give up and look for someone else, because your love is your love. However, you might have to start to contemplate living life without marriage, and without a wife. That's what I'm thinking about, because honestly, there is no one else but her...

It depends; if you are from a traditional family , it might be to strengthen alliances or gain better assets from the other party's family. Sometimes there is a compelling "it was a cold night in January and we needed to keep warm, next thing you know, she's pregnant" reason behind it. and then of course there's the romantic model, because you love each other very much. (Kids may or may not figure into the picture with this one.)

It's because you love somebody and you won't want to live your life without your special one. Then you can get married. In today's world, some couples just live together when they feel love to each other but in my opion cohabitating couples are less likely to tackle the tough, thorny issues confronting their relationship when they are living together. However marriage can make loving people be more inclined to come up with a plan and to stick to it because they're committed to each other for the long haul.

Well, I am Roman Catholic and for us to marry another person meens that you want to be with that person for the rest of your life, "...until death do us part". No matter what happens, you two will always be together. Its a sign of eachothers comittment, to have children and raise them and to be there for eachother. Its about love. I hope this helps.

Wee Man.

people marry because thats just a stage in relationships. first its crush, boyfriend/girlfriend, then its wife/husband. basically marrying someone is likee being committed to stay with that person for the rest of their lives & that they are officially in love.
